    A set-top box is a television or video viewing device which can be attached to a TV.

    Android is an operating system from Google which can run applications.

    Put the two together and you have a device typically for watching video or TV based on Android but which may also run apps not designed for TV.

    Personally I hooked up android tv 4k box https://www.infomir.eu/eng/products/...stb/mag424Aw3/. With this set-top box for me is available a lot of different TV channels from different countries. Before I started repairs, I reviewed a lot of different videos.
