An acquaintance proves to me that the caps H 8, H 9 and H 11 are the same and in general they shine the same way and can be interchangeable, well, I theoretically know that this cannot be, can anyone explain in ordinary language how they differ?

I feel so acknowledged now that I've seen 17 people quote me in their sig. And 4 unfortunately.

I will immediately answer the question: H8, H9 and H11 are NOT THE SAME! First: their connectors are different; Secondly: all these lamps have different power consumption! Therefore, if, for example, instead of H8, insert brightest h11 bulb , then this can lead to the blown fuse, or even worse, to the ignition of the car wiring (H8 - 35W; H9 - 65W; H11 - 55W). Thirdly: on each base there are 3 antennae, which are made in different ways, so you have to "saw" in order to stick H11 instead of H8.
