    Default Scanned receipts validity

    Hi team,

I'm trying to cut down on the number of paper receipts I store in my filing cabinet, whenever I can

The question I have is, if I receive a hard copy as the only option and I scan it, without keeping the original copy, would this cause issues should I claim warranty?

I'm new to this forum, but I wanted to share my thoughts on your question. In general, keep the original hard copy of the receipt if possible, especially if the warranty requires it. However, if you're unable to keep the original and only have a scanned copy, it's still worth trying to make a warranty claim with the scanned copy (you can scan it in an app like smartengines.com)
To increase the validity of your scanned receipt, ensure it's a clear and legible copy and includes all necessary information, such as the date, time, location, and items purchased.

    I'm very interested.
