I don't mind braces at all.
I had a pallet expander to start with which was far more annoying than braces ever could be. think large immobile shiny object stuck to the roof of your mouth. Oh trust me that was LOADS of fun. In addition that thing had to be opend up twice a day so basically I had to stick this metal sardine opener in a hole in the stupid pallet expander, to turn it, to widen it, so it crushed the roof of my mouth into position for braces. Put up with that for about a month and youll get the picture.
on top of that I had to wear head gear at nighttime. Granted it was only when I was sleeping but hey it was still annoying and it made my hair look horrible every morning. It made a T at the top of my head, so basically I would have a flat section of hair that was in the shape of a T and then all my other hair would stick up. Again just in preparation for braces. Pain in the ass.
Braces are cake. They just are there. I've had mine for almost 4 years now and as soon as my last tooth grows in I'm done
If you couldn't tell my teeth were REALLY screwed up.

ive had braces for like 3 years
the first few months was hell
ohh... the agony!!
i could eat nothing but tofu, eggs and rice :cry:
but then after that it got a lil better
then i had retainers, i had to wear them all the time.
but my teeth got a lot better and now i only have to wear it wen i sleeping
