GMS Patch v0.57

[FourthTime]

MapleStory will be going through an unscheduled server check on June 26th, 2008.

This involves the game servers, and will last for approximately 30 minutes. We will be fixing the channels that are crashing.

<MapleStory Server Check>

- Server : All Game Servers

- Time : Thursday, June 26th, 8:15 am~ 8:45 am PDT
Thursday, June 26th, 3:15 pm~ 3:45 pm GMT

The website will be available during the server check.

Edit: The patch has been completed 45 minutes EARLY.

The patch lasted for 9 hours and 15 minutes, and the game has opened at 7:15 am PDT (2:15 pm GMT).

Full client, manual patch, and auto-patch for versions 52, 53, 54, and 55 will be uploaded at 9 am PDT. Please check the notices for more information.

Full client, manual patch, and auto-patch for versions 52, 53, 54, and 55 have not been uploaded. (
Auto-patch for version 56 is ready.) Please do not download the full client and manual patch until it is ready. If you download the client beforehand, you will encounter technical difficulties when launching the game.

• No more ad in Windowed Mode
• Buddy list is now clickable
• Guild notice partially works: you can click/write it up and will be displayed in the chat, but won't scroll.
• Swear filter added for Macros
• The items required for Cody's new BBQ quest are dropping
• Elinia portals working
• Maple Items (3) animation now working
• APQ is fixed
• ArPQ monsters now drop powerups

Oh btw, the FourthTime wasn't a reference to the threads. It was a reference to how many patches Nexon's gonna need to keep Ariant, Guild Alliances, Macros and Windowed Mode.

I like how it's a "scheduled" patch due to the fact that they gave a minimal amount of early warning. Yeah. "We totally planned to patch for an additional ten hours after a patch that we didn't know we'd have to extend for nearly double its planned duration."
