Description:

According to Winston, who has devoted a good chunk of his life to studying the plateaus of Perion, Perion in ancient times was not a dry and barren land. Rather, he suggests that it was a place of which bountiful forests rivaled those of current Ellinia. The soil in Perion had been saturated with moisture and nutrients in the past, supporting the necessary conditions for huge plants like Stumpy to grow. However, it has turned into a dry land, and Stumpy, which can be considered a legacy of ancient Perion, now survives on what, little, is left of the barren land.
